DEREK ALLTREE
Derek studied Art & Design, and trained in Jewellery and Gemology, at colleges in Manchester and Sunderland before opening his first workshop in Newcastle upon Tyne in the early 1980's.
A move back to Manchester, in 1992 , to manage the workshop of high class Jewellers "Harrington & Hallworth " earned Derek
a name for himself as a respected Jeweller and Designer working in precious metals & gemstones .
In 1994 he set up "Goldcraft Jewellery Workshop" in Ashton under Lyne and along with his partner Deborah Warburton, they ran a very sucessful jewellery business for some 15 years until they both emigrated to Canada in 2008 where in 2009 they opened "Coast Jewellery" at Lee Bay on the Sunshine Coast specialising in Gold and Silver jewellery designs inspired by the Pender Harbour Coastal area and the surrounding countryside and wildlife.
